Moray is steeped in history with castles, cathedrals & Pictish sites.
Visit coastal villages within a 10 mile radius of Kingston:
A beautiful coastal village steeped in Druid/Picts history. Also a place to whale/dolphin/seal watch. Great place to eat is The Bothy.
Down at the beach you will see all the beautifully painted Beach Huts. Walk along the shoreline to Daisy Rock. Down at the harbour see all the boats & local life.
One of the largest sandy beaches and dunes. Also a bird reserve. Famous as a surfers paradise with high surf & vast views. Lots of places to eat. Best icecrean shop in Scotland is Miele’s of Lossiemouth.
A hidden gem of a beach surrounded by coniferous trees woodland.
Famous for its spiritual eco-village community. Findhorn Bay is tidal but is a great place to walk from the outskirts not the village. Great place to eat is Kimberley.
Historic cathedral town is only 9 miles away on the A96. Plenty of shops, places of interest to visit, banks, pubs, restaurants and cinema.
